Landline Company is hiring a Software Engineer for Connected Fleet & Operations. The role centers on owning the field software layer, including driver apps and handheld tools used by staff, with a focus on offline-first design and real-time data synchronization across fleets.

You'll integrate device capabilities, IoT data, and backend services to deliver a unified, reliable system for field operations across North America.

Formación

• Experience designing offline-capable apps for field use.
• Strong IoT/device integration knowledge with camera, scanning, GPS.
• Familiarity with LLM-driven workflows and automation.
• Comfortable working across backend and frontend layers.

Responsabilidades

• Own the field software layer: driver app and handheld tools used by staff.
• Design robust flows for offline and one-handed operation in real-world conditions.
• Integrate device capabilities (camera, scanning, GPS) for verifiable, real-time data.
• Connect IoT/telemetry data (Samsara) to provide a single operational view.
• Collaborate across booking, dispatch, and backend systems to unify products.
• Advocate for agentic workflows and push toward faster iteration.
