Job summary

The Landline Company is building a real-time field operations platform that powers driver apps and handheld tools used by station staff across a North American network. You’ll own the field software layer, integrating booking flows, operations backend, and real-time data to keep journeys synchronized.

You’ll work with IoT, camera, GPS, and telecom data, shipping fast fixes that improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience for frontline teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the field software layer: the driver app and handheld tools frontline staff use every shift
• Design flows for real field conditions with offline use and one-handed operation
• Integrate device capabilities like camera, barcode/NFC scanning, and GPS for verifiable field events
• Integrate IoT and vehicle telematics to provide a real-time operation picture
• Collaborate across the platform from booking to dispatch to backend for one product feel
• Leverage agentic workflows, including LLM-driven tooling in dev and production
• Ship fixes rapidly with frontline users and partner staff in hub airports
