Job summary

U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) is seeking a Social Worker to support Home Study and Post Release Services. This remote position requires up to 50% travel and is based in the US region including the New York, New Jersey, and Baltimore/DC areas.

Starting pay is $77,657.08, with adjustments for experience and cost of living. Responsibilities include case management, assessments for unaccompanied children, developing culturally informed plans, and coordinating with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related behavioral science; with at least three years’ progressive experience.
• Graduate licensure (LMSW/LCSW) preferred; or a Bachelor's degree with five years clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate clinical case management.
• Carry a caseload of 5–10 Enhanced Post Release Services cases.
• Conduct brief clinical interventions to address crises and family conflicts.
• Complete needs assessments for unaccompanied children and sponsors; develop case plans.
