Job summary

U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) seeks a Social Worker to support the Home Study and Post Release Services. The role is remote and requires travel up to 50% across New York, New Jersey, and the DC metro area.

Starting pay is $77,657.08 and will reflect experience, education, and cost of living. The Social Worker will provide culturally and linguistically appropriate case management for unaccompanied children and sponsors, maintain records, and coordinate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Must have a Master's degree in social work or related field; LMSW/LCSW preferred.
• Bachelor's degree with at least five years of clinical experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate clinical case management.
• Carry a caseload of 5 to 10 Enhanced Post Release Services cases.
• Conduct brief clinical interventions to address crises and family conflicts.
• Complete needs assessments and develop case plans considering culture and language.
