Job summary

HealthEquity is seeking a Social Media Intern to join our remote team. You will support day-to-day execution of HealthEquity's social media channels through content creation, trend research, and content planning.

This internship is remote in the United States, part-time (15-20 hours/week), February 2027 to June 2027, and requires active enrollment in a college or university. You will collaborate with the Social Media Manager, Senior Social Designer, and cross-functional partners to develop

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and platform best practices.
• Strong written communication, storytelling, and content development skills.
• Basic graphic design and content creation skills.
• Familiarity with short-form video creation and social-first storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Research social media trends, platform updates, audience behaviors, and emerging content opportunities.
• Contribute content ideas and participate in creative brainstorming sessions for social campaigns and always-on content.
• Draft social media copy for HealthEquity's social channels.
• Create and edit social content, including graphics, short-form videos, carousels, and platform-specific assets.
• Support content planning, editorial calendars, and campaign execution.
• Conduct competitive and industry research to identify best practices and new content opportunities.
• Bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas that contribute to HealthEquity's content strategy and channel growth.
