Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited College or University as Incoming Junior or Incoming Senior pursuing a related bachelor’s degree.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in social media and external communications.

Responsibilities

• Produce social media posts for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
• Monitor branded social activity including reviews and comments.
• Design graphics for Pinterest and Instagram and infographics.
• Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, talking points, fact sheets, external announcements, and other communications materials.
• Identify and develop compelling stories that highlight organizational initiatives, employees, community impact, innovation.
• Adapt messaging for different external audiences and communication channels.
• Assist with ideation of social media initiatives.
• Potential to go on-site for social media events, promotions and partnership activations
• Conduct research on healthcare, industry, community, and competitor communications trends.
• Support communications plans for announcements, campaigns, events, and organizational initiatives.
