Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a social media and external communications internship for qualified college students. The role focuses on content creation, community management, design, writing copy, video creation, and analytics. Remote work is available for eligible states. The internship runs May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing, Brand, Digital Content, or related field.
• GPA 2.5+ and good communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Produce social media posts for multiple platforms including graphics and video content.
• Monitor activity on Advocate Health branded accounts and respond to comments and reviews.
• Design graphics and infographics for brand journalism site healthenews.
• Assist with ideation of social media initiatives and support external communications.
