HealthEquity, Inc. is seeking a creative Social Media Intern to join the team remotely in the United States.

This part-time internship (15-20 hours/week) runs from February 2027 to June 2027, and candidates must remain enrolled in a college or university throughout the internship. You will assist with content creation, trend research, and editorial planning, collaborating with our Social Media Manager and design partners to drive engagement and brand growth.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, Advertising, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Preferred candidates are entering their Junior or Senior year.
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the internship.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and platform best practices.
• Strong written communication, storytelling, and content development skills.
• Basic graphic design and content creation skills.
• Familiarity with short-form video creation and social-first storytelling.
• Willingness to learn, experiment, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Research social media trends, platform updates, audience behaviors, and emerging content opportunities.
• Contribute content ideas and participate in creative brainstorming sessions for social campaigns and always-on content.
• Draft social media copy for HealthEquity's social channels.
• Create and edit social content, including graphics, short-form videos, carousels, and platform-specific assets.
• Support content planning, editorial calendars, and campaign execution.
• Conduct competitive and industry research to identify best practices and new content opportunities.
• Bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas that contribute to HealthEquity's content strategy and channel growth.
