Advocate Health is offering a remote internship in Social Media and External Communications from May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027. Earn $21/hour for up to 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with remote work available to residents of VA and other eligible states.

The internship is for enrolled juniors/seniors pursuing Communications or related fields, with no prior experience required. You will gain exposure to content creation, analytics, design, writing copy, and campaigns while supporting

Qualifications

• Enrolled as junior or senior in Communications or related field.
• Strong writing and editing abilities with attention to detail.
• Basic graphics and content creation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Produce social media posts across platforms with graphics and copy.
• Monitor branded social activity including reviews and messages.
• Design visuals for Pinterest/Instagram and infographics.
• Assist with social and digital marketing campaigns.
• Draft press materials and external communications.
• Identify compelling stories and adapt messaging for audiences.
• Support planning and reporting for external communications.
