Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a remote social media internship for college students pursuing Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing, Brand, Digital Content or related fields. The role runs May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during business hours.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment with junior or senior status at a regional accredited college or university.
• Grade point average of at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce social media posts across platforms, including graphics and copy.
• Monitor branded social channels and respond to activity.
• Design graphics for Pinterest/Instagram and create infographics.
• Assist with social and digital marketing campaign initiatives.
• Draft/edit press releases, pitches, talking points, and external announcements.
• Develop compelling stories highlighting initiatives and community impact.
• Adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
• Assist with ideation of social media initiatives.
• Potential to attend on-site events for social media promotions.
