Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. (HQCA) is seeking a C&I Module Sales Manager to drive PV module sales in the C&I and residential sectors, with a focus on Southern California.

You will develop sales pipelines targeting commercial and utility-scale projects, manage key customer relationships, and coordinate with marketing to execute campaigns. Remote role with substantial travel to customer sites and occasional visits to Teaneck, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business or electrical/power-related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience in solar-related industry, preferably community and/or utility scale.
• Ability to develop PV business with utility and commercial developers.
• Willingness to travel at least 50%.
• Creative drive for entrepreneurial opportunities and flexibility with various types of customers.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills as well as attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Capitalize on HQCA’s existing solar business to identify and develop plans.
• Pursue new opportunities for growth in the market: So. California focus for large commercial and industrial rooftop and ground mount projects.
• Develop new customers with channel partners to drive pull-in sales from various solar contractors.
• Prioritize new customers among developers, contractors, and roof installers; focus on geography expansion.
• Manage relationships and communicate with key customers to identify needs including purchase orders, AR, tech support, and logistics.
• Observe RFP opportunities; build and manage the pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Develop go-to-market strategies with strategic partners and customers in the C&I sector.
• Define business model and standard contracts; collaborate with Marketing on campaigns.
• All other duties as assigned by Head of C&I Module Sales.
