Job summary

Mondelēz International is seeking a Retail Territory Manager to lead in-store execution and Direct Store Delivery across a Virginia territory. You will energize shelves, build strong relationships with retailers, and ensure flawless rollout of sales programs.

This role blends strategy, agility, and people skills to drive snack sales. You will manage Merchandisers, plan growth, and collaborate with store personnel, HQ programs, and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides.
• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree highly preferred
• A flexible work schedule is required, including weekends and holidays
• 3-5 years of selling experience with strong sales background and understanding of business processes
• Ability to perform physical activities (lifting, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs, occasionally over 50 lbs) and pass background checks
• Mondelez International offers a company vehicle with gas card and maintenance program

Responsibilities

• Hit the Numbers: Deliver monthly and quarterly sales targets by unlocking growth across assigned accounts
• Lead with Impact: Manage and inspire a team of Merchandiser from hiring and coaching to performance development
• Drive Execution Excellence: Ensure flawless rollout of sales priorities and merchandising programs in-store
• Consult & Sell: Provide on-site sales consultation to customers and secure incremental opportunities
• Plan for Growth: Tailor data-driven sales strategies to store demographics and customer needs
• Build Relationships: Cultivate partnerships with store personnel to identify opportunities and deliver top-tier service
• Optimize Resources: Strategically deploy merchandisers and order writers to maximize shelf impact and sales
• Champion Store Success: Oversee product ordering, display execution, and unsaleables management
• Own the Cadence: Design and execute a smart store schedule to strengthen relationships and drive results
• Stay Safe & Compliant: Operate within Mondelēz International’s safety guidelines
