Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Commercial Sales Engineer - SMB to join our information technology leadership team. You will partner with prospective customers, translate technical needs into practical solutions, and lead evaluations for small and mid-sized accounts.

This role blends customer-facing presentations with hands-on cybersecurity and networking know-how, plus an interest in AI-enabled solutions. Remote, US-based candidates only.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Sales Engineer or Network Systems Integrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on cybersecurity and networking background (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
• Curiosity about and exploration of AI tools.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers.
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions meet their goals.
• Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations.
• Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes.
