Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Contractor to screen, assess, and treat students under IEP guidance. Responsibilities include case management, data collection, and collaboration with educators.

Remote position open to residents of the 50 states and D.C., with a 1099 Independent Consultant arrangement. Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, 3 years public-school experience, state SLP certification, and ASHA SLP CCC.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
• Three (3) years of speech/language work experience within a public-school setting or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to work independently, with availability during typical school hours of at least 20 hours per week is required.
• Knowledge regarding IDEA due process requirements
• Ability to conduct and interpret comprehensive speech-language evaluations
• Ability to provide speech-language therapy services
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff to plan and deliver services
• Receptive to coaching from administrators
• Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure student outcomes
• Ability to create and deliver staff development
• Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms
• MS365 Proficient
• Ability to clear required background check

Responsibilities

• Screen and/or evaluate students with suspected speech-language impairments
• Provide case management of speech-only caseload
• Ensure services align with IEP determinations and schedule
• Develop progress reports and state-specific documentation
• Provide accommodations and modifications for students with disabilities
• Monitor SLPA/CFY caseloads and schedules
• Maintain compliance with state, school, and company regulations
• Instruct on communication strategies to improve classroom outcomes
• Maintain records and progress data for reference and compliance
• Document all parent and student interventions
• Deliver engaging therapy experiences for students
• Support SST/RTI processes and participate in meetings
