Job summary

Immediate start dates depend on placements; the position follows the school district calendar with negotiable hourly rates and no employee benefits. Applicants must hold an active AZ SLP license and related certifications.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona SLP license in good standing with no disciplinary history.
• PreK–12 professional non-teaching certificate from the Arizona Department of Education.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
• Professional liability insurance.
• Working knowledge of IDEA and Arizona special education law.
• Tele-practice platforms experience for assessment and therapy in school/IEP settings.
• FERPA-compliant home setup and reliable high-speed internet.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality speech and language instruction in a virtual classroom.
• Evaluate students' speech and language levels and set actionable goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs.
• Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals with required rigor.
• Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and administrators to align on student progress.
