Job summary

SPD Technology is seeking a Signal Integrity/Power Integrity Engineer to shape the future of AI/ML hardware acceleration. You will lead SI/PI analysis, drive 2.5D/3D packaging, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure robust high-speed designs from concept to production.

You will work on PCIe, SerDes, memory interfaces, and IP evaluation while advancing methodologies with silicon, system, and vendor partners. Remote contract work is supported with flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SI/PI design experience for chip, package or system PCB.
• Experience with industry SIPI modeling tool chains (HFSS, ADS, Sigrity, Siwave).
• Experience with lab bring-up, test environments, and characterization for high-speed memory and SerDes.
• Collaboration across chip architecture, physical design, STA, package, and validation teams.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++ to automate flows and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead SI/PI analysis and optimization for HPC with 2.5D/3D packaging.
• Influence chip floorplanning, PDN/power trees, netlists, and routability.
• Evaluate high-speed interface IPs and develop next-gen IO interfaces.
• Drive post-silicon validation and NPI with DFM considerations.
• Collaborate with silicon, system, and vendor teams to improve modeling.
