Job summary

International Executive Service Corps seeks an Interpreter to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpretation via video in a call center environment. You will interpret for Deaf and hard-of-hearing consumers with fluency in ASL and spoken English, while adhering to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Responsibilities include delivering video relay services, maintaining professionalism, and participating in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Accurate interpretation skills.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• 3–5 years interpreting experience preferred.
• State licensure of credentials if applicable.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service and video remote interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company's mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with a respectful and professional attitude.
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts.
• Adhere to all policies and FCC regulations.
• Demonstrate ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Multi-task between interpreting and using video.

• Meet performance expectations with minimal supervision.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Onsite interpreting offered as needed; driving may be required with vehicle and insurance.
