Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking a Part-Time Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpretation through video and at client locations as needed. The interpreter must be fluent in ASL and English and adhere to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

The role requires 24 hours per week with flexible scheduling, completion of a 40-hour New Hire Training, and ability to travel to sites as needed to support call center operations and on-site

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English
• Understanding of Deaf culture and NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
• Three to five years interpreting experience preferred
• State licensure or state-required credentials where applicable
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers
• Support and model the company’s mission and values
• Provide excellent customer service with a respectful and professional attitude
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts, and accurate record keeping
• Adhere to FCC regulations and adapt to new technologies
• Travel to client sites as required
