Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc. is seeking an American Sign Language interpreter to provide high-quality interpreting via video in a call center environment.

The role requires fluent ASL and spoken English, accurate interpretation, and thorough knowledge of the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct. The interpreter will perform video relay and video remote interpreting, support the company's mission, and maintain professional customer service while collaborating with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Accurate interpretation and adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years interpreting experience preferred.
• As applicable, state licensure of state-required credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service and video remote interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company's mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customer and colleagues.
• Exhibit punctuality and preparedness for shifts; maintain timely and accurate records.
• Adhere to all policies, FCC regulations, and company procedures.
