Job summary

International Executive Service Corps seeks a qualified Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality interpreting via video relay, video remote interpreting, and on-site services for customers. Fluent ASL and spoken English are required, with knowledge of the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct and 3–5 years of interpreting experience preferred.

The role includes travel to client sites as needed, working 36 hours per week, and meeting FCC and company standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of interpreting experience (preferred)
• Able to travel as needed and have a vehicle/insurance
• Must pass interpreting skills assessment
• Must attend and successfully complete a 40 hour New Hire Training
• State licensure or state-required credentials where applicable
• You must be 18 years or older to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and onsite interpreting for consumers
• Support and model the company's mission and values
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customers and colleagues
• Exhibit professional behavior including punctuality and preparedness for shifts, and accurate record keeping
• Adhere to FCC regulations and NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
• Travel to client sites as needed and operate in fast-paced environments
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in all settings
• Interpret accurately in ASL and spoken English
