Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC is seeking a part-time Sign Language Interpreter to provide Video Relay Service (VRS) at home, via video or on-site as needed. Fluency in ASL and spoken English, accurate interpretation, and NAD-RID Code compliance are essential.

Applicants must commit to at least 24 hours per week, secure a private home workspace, pass an interpreting skills assessment, and may be subject to remote monitoring of the At Home environment and video calls.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 24 hours per week.
• Must pass company's interpreting skills assessment.
• Must be willing to allow remote monitoring of the At Home environment and video call endpoints.
• Must be able to become licensed in any states requiring licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting and onsite interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model company's mission and values.
