Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a part-time STAGES Sign Language Interpreter - Contractor to provide ASL interpretation and transliteration for live, virtual instruction, enabling D/HH students to access content and participate in class activities.

The interpreter will collaborate with teachers, support staff, and caregivers, follow IEPs, and may need licensure across states. This 1099 Independent Consultant role is remote and requires a professional home office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience interpreting in educational environment.
• Minimum 1 year experience providing interpreting services virtually.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and transliterate live, synchronous virtual content per IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and service providers to support student progress and ensure compliance with IEPs.
• Maintain a professional home office and adhere to ethical standards.
