Job summary

ViaQuest seeks a Shared Living Provider to care for individuals with developmental disabilities from your home. The role offers a daily stipend, required training, and the ability to work remotely while completing all billing and support through ViaQuest.

You’ll provide direct care, supervise and assist with daily activities, help integrate individuals into everyday life, and accompany them on outings to ensure health and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Fewer than 6 points on motor vehicle record in the last two years.
• Willingness to share your home and a spare bedroom.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities — our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are always met.
• Supervising, teaching, and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Integrating the individual into your everyday life
• Providing personal care assistance.
• Participating in community outings and appointments through transporting and assisting the individual served.
