Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead design, governance, and delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to drive platform innovations and secure, scalable solutions.

You will oversee demand backlog meetings, architecture governance, and deployment planning while performing hands‑on development and mentoring teams in ServiceNow best practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Technical Consultant.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog).
• Hands‑on experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, Workflows, ACLs, Notifications, Update Sets, and integrations.
• Proven ability to create technical designs and present to governance boards and senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery (demand mgmt, backlog, sprint planning, testing, release).
• Experience leading distributed teams and mentoring ServiceNow developers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, governance, and delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
• Present designs and architectural decisions to governance and Architecture Review Board.
• Manage change requests, deployment planning, release coordination, and production readiness.
• Hands‑on ServiceNow development and configuration while guiding the delivery team.
• Drive Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and deployment.
