Job summary

Calance, Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow ITSM/CMDB Engineer for a 6-month contract, fully remote in the USA. The role focuses on designing and implementing CMDBs, integrating ServiceNow with security tools, and automating ITSM and GRC processes.

You will work with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to prioritize requirements and ensure production stability. You will develop and optimize integrations with Rapid7, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, and AuditBoard, and build L2/L3 workflows for

Qualifications

• Hands-on ServiceNow ITSM experience required.
• Experience designing or managing a CMDB.
• Strong understanding of Configuration Items, asset relationships, data normalization and CMDB governance.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations, APIs, workflow automation, and ticket routing.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise security or infrastructure platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support the selection, design, rollout, and implementation of the CMDB.
• Define the CMDB architecture, data model, asset relationships, and integration strategy.
• Create workflows to import, populate, normalize, and manage databases/assets within the CMDB.
• Develop and automate integrations between the CMDB, ServiceNow, and security platforms.
• Integrate security tools with ServiceNow (Rapid7, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, AuditBoard).
• Configure workflows so security and GRC events generate ServiceNow tickets and route them appropriately.
• Build and maintain L2/L3 workflows, ticket routing, prioritization, and escalation processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual ITSM, security, asset mgmt, and GRC processes.
• Troubleshoot integrations between ServiceNow and third-party platforms.
