Job summary

First American Financial is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to gather requirements, evaluate ServiceNow capabilities, and work with developers to implement new functionality. You will document needs, conduct feasibility and testing, and support issue resolution in a collaborative, Agile setting.

Remote-friendly role with hybrid options for local candidates; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in Agile environments and ITSM familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements gathering meetings and document business needs.
• Perform feasibility studies of requirements and analyze solutions.
• Research ServiceNow functionality and capabilities for business requirements.
• Configure ServiceNow with developers to deliver new or modified functionality.
• Develop functional specifications and design solutions based on application module capabilities.
• Provide application support including incident triage and bug research.
• Act as liaison between ServiceNow development and business users.
• Prepare test cases and conduct functional and user testing.
• Assist in production issue resolution as needed.
• Create and manage service requests for issues or functionality.
• Plan and monitor tasks/phases for successful delivery of solutions.
