Job summary

Dunhill Professional Search & Government Solutions is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Engineer to provide advanced engineering, configuration, and integration support for the enterprise ServiceNow platform in a fully remote U.S. role with occasional travel to CONUS bases.

You will design complex workflows, integrations, and data models, and apply modern practices such as scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code in a federal IT setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting ServiceNow environments with multi‑module instances.
• Experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications and building integrations.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience planning ServiceNow upgrades with change-management processes.
• Must have current secret security clearance.
• Occasional travel <10% to CONUS bases.
• Security+ or DoD IAT-II compliant certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, SAM, SecOps and related apps.
• Develop and maintain integrations using APIs, web services, and MID servers.
• Plan and execute platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements with regression testing.
• Configure and customize workflows, dashboards, and data models.
• Collaborate with security and compliance stakeholders on configurations and data handling.
• Apply scripting and automation to streamline administration and deployment tasks.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Document solutions and technical procedures for knowledge transfer.
