Job summary

Sciton, a Silicon Valley-based leader in laser, light, and energy technologies, seeks a Service Scheduler to coordinate all service visits for clients and optimize resources. You will work with field engineers, customers, and internal teams to manage requests, maintain schedules, and resolve conflicts.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience in scheduling or customer service, and proficiency with ERP, Google Workspace, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in scheduling, customer service, or a related field preferred.
• ERP software proficiency preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in scheduling software, Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Service Appointments: Coordinate and schedule service visits for customers, ensuring proper time allocation for each job.
• Customer Communication: Confirm visits, provide service details, and handle rescheduling or cancellations as needed.
• Resource Management: Assign service technicians based on skills, availability, and proximity.
• Maintain Service Calendar: Update and maintain an accurate service calendar.
• Customer Support: Address inquiries related to service scheduling and resolve conflicts or delays.
• Monitor Service Progress: Track progress to ensure timely completion.
• Data Entry & Documentation: Enter and maintain records in the service management system.
• Problem Resolution: Proactively handle scheduling issues and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work with technicians, CSRs, and management for coordination.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience: Scheduling or related field preferred.
• ERP & Tools: Proficiency in ERP software, Google Workspace, and MS Office.
