ABB Inc. is seeking a results-driven Service Sales professional in Illinois to lead service sales across assigned customers. You will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the full ABB service portfolio while building lasting customer relationships.

You will coordinate strategies, negotiate contracts, and track opportunities, staying informed on market trends. Travel within the district and a valid passport are expected; remote work is supported.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or GED with 5+ years in industrial/utility sales.
• At least 3 years of experience in Sales, Field Services, or marketing involving customer development in a pre-order role.
• Experience selling electrical power studies, switchgear, drives, motors and transformers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the District and to obtain/maintain a valid passport; eligible to work in the U.S.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsabilidades

• Provide sales leadership with strategies to support the customer's business needs through ABB services and technology.
• Build customer relationships across their organization.
• Support the assigned customer with sales activities to identify opportunities to improve reliability, productivity, or business objectives.
• Negotiate contracts as required.
• Maintain knowledge of market trends, pricing, and installed base for services or products.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities and dispositions as they evolve.
• Make recommendations for continued growth.
