Job summary

Forgent Power is seeking a Service Advisor to support the administration, scheduling, customer coordination, and dispatch readiness of field service work. The role partners with Project Managers, Field Engineers, and internal teams to document work orders, schedule resources, and mobilize field staff.

You will coordinate with customers, verify site access requirements, and escalate out-of-scope requests before dispatch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, operations, project coordination, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in field service coordination, service administration, scheduling, dispatch, project support, contract administration, customer service, or a comparable operational role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service appointments, repairs, preventive maintenance, startup support, and other field activities with customers and internal teams.
• Schedule and dispatch Field Engineers based on scope, competencies, availability, location and priorities.
• Communicate schedule confirmations, assignments, changes, delays, and next steps to stakeholders.
• Identify resource conflicts or scheduling risks and escalate to service leadership for resolution.
• Partner with Project Manager to obtain documentation required for dispatch and verify site access, badging, and safety requirements.
