Job summary

Forgent Power is seeking a Remote Service Advisor to support administration, scheduling, customer coordination, and dispatch readiness for field service work. You will coordinate with customers, Project Managers, and Field Engineers to document work orders, schedule resources, and mobilize field teams.

You will review requests against the documented scope, escalate out-of-scope work, and maintain records in the approved systems.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in field service coordination, scheduling, dispatch, or project support preferred.
• Experience with electrical, power distribution, switchgear, industrial, data center or technical field service operations preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple work orders and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service appointments, repairs, preventive maintenance, startup support, and field activities.
• Schedule and dispatch Field Engineers based on scope, competencies, and priorities.
• Communicate schedule updates and changes to stakeholders; escalate risks to leadership.
• Create, update, and monitor work orders; maintain contract and service documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure site access, badges, and safety requirements are identified.
