SCI Summit Consulting, LLC seeks a senior underwriting professional to lead evaluation and underwriting of new and renewal workers’ compensation business. You will develop risk assessment models, price coverage, and guide decisions with actuaries, agents, and clients.

Role requires extensive underwriting experience, strong communication, and collaboration skills. This remote role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range of $107,200–$125,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Risk Management and Insurance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 13+ years of underwriting or related experience; professional designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads evaluation and underwriting of new and renewal business per guidelines.
• Develops risk assessment models to inform coverage, pricing, and terms.
• Collaborates with actuaries, agents, brokers, and clients for information and guidance.
• Documents underwriting decisions and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Evaluates complex renewals and suggests policy enhancements.
• Communicates underwriting strategies to internal teams and partners.
