You will ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and regulations while mentoring staff and contributing to process improvements. The position is remote with travel as needed and demands strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Risk Management and Insurance, or related field.
• Minimum 13 years of experience in Underwriting or related field; professional designations preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.

• Leads the evaluation and underwriting of new and renewal business.
• Develops and implements advanced risk assessment models to guide coverage, pricing and terms.
• Maintains documentation and compliance with state and federal insurance regulations.

• May supervise staff and participate in talent decisions.
