Job summary

ProAssurance, a leading specialty insurer, seeks a Senior Risk Management Consultant to evaluate loss potential for workers’ compensation clients and recommend cost-effective consultative services. The role emphasizes safety, health, and collaboration with claims, underwriting, and other departments.

Based in NH/VT and remote with periodic office reporting, the candidate will develop plans to reduce loss exposure and support a profitable book of business across Eastern Alliance Insurance Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, seven years of progressive occupational safety and health experience.
• Prior insurance industry experience required.
• Advanced degree and/or professional designation (CSP/ARM) preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute service plans to reduce loss exposure and improve profitability by evaluating facilities and needs.
• Prescreen new business submissions, including site visits; communicate with Underwriting on risk selection.
• Prioritize and document risk management activities for an assigned book of business; coordinate with underwriting, claims, and others.
• Lead Alternative Market Programs and ensure service commitments are met.
• Support return-to-work initiatives and ecovery strategies with stakeholders.
• Attend team account review meetings to discuss adverse accounts and solutions.
