Job summary

AvonRisk, a leading specialty risk manager for self-insured organizations across 32 states, seeks a senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster III. You will handle the organization’s most complex, high-exposure claims, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with clients and carriers.

The role offers remote or hybrid work with a preference for candidates in Arizona and requires extensive experience in indemnity management, complex claims, and litigation

Qualifications

• 7+ years WC claims experience including independent indemnity management.
• Experience with complex, high-exposure, & litigated files.
• Knowledge of public entity liability claims and JPAs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-exposure WC claims including catastrophic injuries and multi-party litigation.
• Provide technical guidance and supervisory backup to the unit and key client accounts.
• Direct the litigation process from mediation to trial and manage subrogation opportunities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree
