Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Sr. Representative Claims to lead workers’ compensation claim investigations from a remote NM base. You will plan, investigate, value, dispose and settle claims in alignment with policy and regulatory standards while delivering excellent service to claimants and customers.

This 100% remote role is open to residents of New Mexico. Start date January 19, 2027, with training and regular hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation claim handling required.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Professional diplomacy in interactions with customers.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage workers’ compensation claims requiring timely investigations and financial accuracy.
• Provide benefit oversight, appropriate file disposition and adherence to statutory guidelines for all claims.
• Leverage a network of professional resources to facilitate our mission of restoring the lives of our claimants.
• Provide exceptional customer service by establishing and maintaining productive business relationships with customers.
• Utilize data to inform critical claim decisions.
• Provide accurate calculations of disability benefit rates and claim financial exposures.
