Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in SC/VA.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required; insurance designations or additional experience may substitute for degree.
• SC license required at start of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate highly complex indemnity workers' compensation claims.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly.
• Provide reports and analysis to management and underwriters.
• Set claim reserves and coordinate resources for resolution.
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with insureds and claimants.
