Job summary

Gallagher Bassett seeks an experienced Claims Adjuster with 3–5+ years of indemnity desk and litigation experience to join our remote-friendly team.

You will analyze workers' compensation claims, collaborate with clients and parties, and advocate effective resolutions in line with regulatory and policy standards.

Active adjuster licenses in target states or reciprocal license is required; a high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Apply claims management experience to analyze claims exposure, plan the proper course of action, and appropriately resolve claims.
• Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants on behalf of our clients showing empathy throughout the process.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely and efficiently, supporting the claim file outcome.
