Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to support our clients nationwide. The role requires 3–5+ years of experience adjusting indemnity desks and handling litigation, with active adjuster licenses in required states or reciprocity.

This position is eligible for fully remote work, with Illinois and other state jurisdictions in scope. You will analyze claims exposure, determine proper action, and coordinate with clients, claimants, and vendors to deliver timely resolutions in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims exposure and determine the proper course of action to resolve claims.
• Interact with involved parties to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants on behalf of clients with empathy at every step.
• Handle claims in accordance with client policies, procedures, and ethical requirements.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely to support the claim file outcome.
