Miratech is seeking a Senior Programmable Voice Engineer to design and build scalable voice platforms powering next-generation customer experiences. You’ll work with FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, SIP, WebRTC, and Java/Spring Boot to expose voice capabilities through APIs and services used across enterprise apps.

The role requires 8+ years of hands-on software engineering, strong knowledge of real-time voice systems, and experience delivering API-driven platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with architecture ownership.
• Deep hands-on expertise with FreeSWITCH and Kamailio, including call control and media services.
• Experience building API-driven communication platforms / CPaaS-style solutions.
• Strong knowledge of voice infra and real-time communications (SIP, RTP, WebRTC).
• Expert-level Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, security and performance engineering.
• API-first design, event-driven architecture and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling (PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on with CX platforms and customer routing concepts.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead client workshops.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop programmable voice services, APIs, and call-control capabilities for enterprise-scale platforms.
• Build and extend voice infrastructure using FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, SIP, RTP, WebRTC.
• Design backend services and APIs in Java/Spring Boot to expose voice capabilities.
• Implement call routing, session management, media handling, and carrier integrations.
• Design highly available, scalable systems for real-time traffic.
• Troubleshoot signaling, media, telephony issues across distributed environments.
• Integrate voice services with contact center, CRM, and analytics platforms.
• Define non-functional requirements for availability, security, observability, DR.
• Review designs and code; manage risks and drive pragmatic decisions.
• Establish engineering standards and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to govern delivery and resolve issues.
