BIM Technology Management LLC is hiring a Sr VDC Engineer for remote work within the United States. You will lead 3D BIM model development, clash detection, and MEP coordination across projects, ensuring data accuracy and coordination with architects, engineers, and contractors.

The role requires 3-5 years of BIM/VDC experience, strong MEP coordination skills, and proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM360. Excellent communication and leadership are essential for success.

Formación

• Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 3-5 years BIM/VDC experience leading MEP coordination for large commercial projects.
• Experience supporting GC self-perform trades with BIM workflows is a plus.
• Empathetic leadership and teamwork approach.
• Proficiency with BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM360) and related plugins.
• Ability to train less experienced colleagues and manage multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and Design/Construction process.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written & verbal).
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and detail orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and maintenance of 3D BIM models for architecture, structure, and MEP systems.
• Input and verify data accuracy in BIM software reflecting project status.
• Update BIM models with design changes and revisions.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve clashes and ensure BIM standards.
• Generate drawings, reports, and documents from BIM models for reviews.
• Lead data management workflows across coordination projects.
• Stay updated on BIM software updates and related plugins.
• Provide ongoing BIM training and best-practice guidance.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors for data sharing.
• Communicate progress and issues to project leads.
