Job summary

Crum & Forster is seeking an Executive Underwriter to lead broker relationships and grow a profitable book of Middle Market business in the Southeast or Southcentral US. This fully remote role partners with regional management to build out the territory and drive broker pipelines.

You will analyze underwriting data, underwrite Property, Auto, General Liability, Workers’ Compensation and Excess lines, and collaborate with internal teams to hit profitability and growth goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 6+ years of underwriting experience.
• Strong relationships with agencies in the territories assigned.
• Innovative and entrepreneurial spirit and a flexible approach to the business.
• Underwriting knowledge of Property, General Liability, Auto and Workers’ Compensation.
• Strong communication and analytical skills to pursue new business and manage renewals.

Responsibilities

• Drive broker relationships and build account pipelines.

• Lead and manage a profitable book of business with target broker shops.
