Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6+ years of underwriting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of complex casualty risks and Middle Market exposure.
• Ability to build and maintain broker relationships and networks.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex casualty accounts for the Middle Market, coordinating with regional underwriters.
• Develop and manage agency relationships to grow profitable book of business.
• Review underwriting data to select superior risks and ensure profitability and retention.
• Collaborate with regional brokers to identify large business growth opportunities.
• Travel may be required and participation in training or projects as assigned.
