Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Staff Thermal Systems Engineer to own system architectures and drive technical execution for aerospace programs. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and collaborate with customers and suppliers throughout design, verification, and production transitions.

The role emphasizes leadership in thermal management, MBSE, and program management, with a strong focus on delivering reliable, approved solutions while maintaining export-control

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with related aerospace focus.
• 15+ years of systems engineering experience, preferably thermal management.
• Strong knowledge of MBSE methodologies and verification/validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the program’s architecture and technical approach.
• Serve as technical lead; coordinate activities across internal and external resources.
• Identify and manage technical risks; ensure successful program execution.
• Trace requirements top-down to specs for components and suppliers.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to engineering community growth.
• Review documentation for prototype-to-production transition.
• Provide engineering support to troubleshoot non-performing products.
