Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Senior Telecommunications Project Manager to drive critical telecom deployments on a remote basis. You will lead project planning, execution, and delivery for international teams, ensuring on-time, within-budget results that meet quality standards.

You will steward complex programs from initiation to closure, manage risks, align stakeholders, and apply PM best practices across Agile and Waterfall. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• PMP certification highly desirable.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in telecommunications infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale telecom projects from initiation to closure.
• Knowledge of fibre optics, wireless networks, and data centers.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Asana, Jira.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of telecom projects including network build-outs and upgrades.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures, and meet financial objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
• Provide regular status updates and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure adherence to PM best practices (Agile, Waterfall) and company standards.
• Oversee QA and ensure deliverables meet specifications.
• Negotiate with vendors and manage contracts effectively.
• Lead and motivate project teams to maintain high performance in a remote setting.
