Placements24 is seeking a Lead Telecom Infrastructure Engineer for a fully remote role, overseeing the design, deployment, and maintenance of our expansive telecom infrastructure across a global network.

Responsibilities include leading IP networks, optical transport, and wireless backhaul, mentoring a remote team, and driving security and availability for large-scale services. Strong leadership and expert technical skills required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in telecommunications infrastructure engineering.
• At least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
• Experience with IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, and switching technologies.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, deployment, and management of core telecom infrastructure (IP networks, optical transport, wireless backhaul).
• Develop and implement infrastructure strategies and roadmaps for growth.
• Oversee performance monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization of network infrastructure.
• Ensure security and integrity of network infrastructure with robust measures.
• Mentor and guide a team of infrastructure engineers in a remote environment.
