Job summary

Agile Defense, LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Integration Lead to accelerate software capabilities across a DoD program. Based in San Diego area with remote work options, the role requires translating mission needs into actionable technical requirements and managing cross-functional teams.

The candidate will apply modular, API-first principles, ensure cybersecurity integration, and drive technical decision-making in evolving environments to support Cadre/SDA objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.
• Experience translating operational needs into technical requirements and priorities.
• Knowledge of modern software architecture, APIs, data integration, system interfaces, and interoperability.
• Understanding of cybersecurity considerations in development and deployment.
• Ability to drive technical problem-solving in evolving environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical integration lead across operational stakeholders, software teams, systems integrators, and CDAO partners.
• Translate workflows and user needs into technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and interfaces.
• Support technical integration across JFN mission areas and edge architectures.
• Identify and resolve integration dependencies across APIs, data, interfaces, and deployment environments.
• Define technical boundaries and interfaces among JFN, MSS, and related capabilities.
• Participate in backlog refinement, architecture reviews, demonstrations, testing, and planning.
• Evaluate architectural decisions for interoperability and security impacts.
• Apply API-first, open architecture principles to enable interoperable solutions.
• Incorporate cybersecurity considerations into development planning.
• Collaborate across boundaries to drive issue resolution and actionable paths.
• Document technical decisions and reusable patterns for ongoing use.
