Job summary

Integrated Data Services (IDS) is seeking an ambitious Requirements Lead to guide agile software development for complex government systems. The role blends business analysis, requirements leadership and quality ownership, with a focus on web applications, data integrations and system interfaces.

Based in the Washington, DC area, this position is currently remote; onsite support may be required in the future.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, computer science, mathematics, accounting, economics or related discipline.
7+ years of relevant experience may substitute education.

Responsibilities

Lead the Agile requirements lifecycle for enhancements: elicitation, backlog refinement, user stories & acceptance criteria; prepare design specs and mockups.
Participate in Scrum ceremonies as a core team member.
Collaborate with developers, testers and leads to clarify behavior, data flows, and UX; ensure alignment with business intent and architecture.
Own and maintain Agile artifacts in Jira/Confluence (stories, epics, design specs, decision logs, traceability).
Prioritize enhancements with Product Owners to balance value, risk and schedule.
Own test planning and verification; drive defects to resolution and update requirements/design as needed.
Prepare and deliver demonstrations of new capabilities to customers and stakeholders.
