Job summary

Red Hat’s Technical Account Management team is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager to provide direct technical and architectural guidance for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Platform. This role is remote in the East region of the United States and focuses on building long-lasting customer loyalty through expert guidance and proactive support.

You will collaborate with engineering, R&D, product management, and technical support to resolve issues, while growing relationships and delivering

Qualifications

• 5+ years in support, development, engineering, IT, or QA.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux including installation, patching, tuning, troubleshooting.
• Experience with configuration management, deployment, and orchestration tech.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with customers.
• Ability to manage multiple issues and projects.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for customers across teams and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
• Update portfolio roadmap and assist with upgrades and implementation.
• Learn new technologies including containers, registries, microservices, and automation.
• Specialize in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and advise on implementation.
• Perform technical reviews and share knowledge across teams.
• Understand customers' technical environments, hardware, and usage.
• Respond to support requests via online, phone, video, chat.
• Provide strategic guidance on current and future Red Hat products.
• Manage customer cases with clear documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, R&D, product management, and support teams.
• Create and maintain technical docs for issue resolution.
• Grow customer relationships through attentive, relationship-based support.
• Visit customer sites as needed to ensure exceptional service.
