Job summary

Everpure is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Public Sector, Defence and Defence Industrial Base team. This remote role supports Account Executives and partners across the UK and Ireland, guiding opportunities from discovery through technical validation to close.

We require a highly collaborative, senior technical professional with storage fundamentals and a consultative mindset. Expect travel across the UK & Ireland to meet customers and partners, with on-site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of pre-sales/systems engineering or similar
• Storage and infrastructure fundamentals with strong storage experience preferred
• Understanding of block, file and object storage; FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN, virtualization
• Familiarity with UK government procurement frameworks (G-Cloud, CCS) and security accreditation
• Ability to lead consultative technical discovery with senior stakeholders
• Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborative, proactive style with strong discovery and qualification skills
• Experience with channel partners and defence primes is valuable
• UK Government security vetting completed
• Role can be remote with regular UK travelled site visits

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives on public sector and defence opportunities and move deals forward
• Lead as senior technical lead within SE pool for Public Sector and Defence
• Translate requirements into architectures, proposals, sizing, quotes and concepts
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, workshops, on-site or remotely in the UK & Ireland
• Enable and coach channel partner SEs for public sector and defence markets
• Validate technical fit for opportunities including storage, virtualization and infrastructure with security in mind
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a strong buying experience
• Participate in training, pipeline reviews, and knowledge sharing on procurement requirements
